Swisa Dead Sea Products Health Benefits
The Dead Sea is known to possess many health benefits ranging from helping people with chronic skin diseases like psoriasis, cardio-vascular disease and lung disease such as cystic fibrosis. To appreciate these benefits most people make the Dead Sea their holiday destination to soak up the sun, sea, air, and earth. For the rest of us, the benefits of the Dead Sea can be found in black mud, facial scrubs, mineral soaps, bath salts, masks, creams, lotions, serums, gels, and in a variety of other formats. They key is in the Dead Sea's high mineral concentration, that has been collected over thousands of years through a combination of rapid evaporation, sea water deposit and its unique geological structure, 400 meters below, sea level, that traps anything that flows into it. The black mud pools and salt bed located at the Dead Sea are rich in minerals, containing high concentrations of essential trace elements such as potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium, and up to 17 other elements or minerals.
From a skin care perspective, Potassium helps regulate the moisture level in the skin while Magnesium promotes healing. Sodium is an essential element for the body to function while calcium is essential for bones and muscles. The mineral mud soothes and softens the skin, promotes the natural shedding of the skin to deliver a radiant complexion and cleanses at the same time. The high concentrations of humic acid found in the mud have also been proven to be beneficial when applied to painful muscles, rheumatic conditions and arthritis. The minerals can be used in saps and baths to stimulate the immune system, which also deliver direct benefits to the respiratory system and aids in conditions such as asthma.
Manufacturing and Ingredient Information
The Swisa line of products is created using the finest ingredients available. All ingredients are Pharmaceutical grade as opposed to cosmetic or even industrial grade, which can be found in other brands.
Most formulations are aloe vera based - aloe has been known throughout the world for centuries to be soothing and beneficial to the skin. Natural oils and botanicals extracts (as opposed to synthetic chemicals) are also plentiful to provide additional benefits to the skin.
Swisa products are manufactured using the most modern technology, incorporating fast heating, fast cooling tanks and high sheer homogenizers to ensure optimum stability and premium quality.
For Swisa Face and Body Care, botanicals such as green tea, chamomile, and calendula are carefully reviewed and chosen for their individual benefits to the skin. One process that makes the Swisa line unique from others is that our botanical extracts are created within our own laboratory to ensure purity, quality, and potency. Starting with the natural flower, or root, or leaf, each botanical is infused into a liquid base right here in house and mixed fresh into our formulations. So there are no worries of aged or super-diluted botanical extracts that may be used in other brands.
